The complexity of ScMs and the lack of access, tools, and methods for the design practices create barriers to the application. Therefore, this research aims to support researchers with tools and methods for deep comprehension and guidance for applying ScMs. This practice-based research aims to enable researchers to develop ScMs into semi-finished ScM composites with inferable behavior, which can be more easily manipulated in design terms. This interdisciplinary research requires cooperation between various field,s such as design, material science, material engineering, computer science, and art. It is meant to be a valuable reference for researchers and designers working in interaction design and accelerating the development and application of ScMs.
