During the final presentation of the Passion in Action course, held by Professor Valentina Rognoli together with PhD students Sofia Duarte and Malu Luecking and inspired by the Biodesign Challenge, students will showcase four innovative and imaginative projects in the field of Biodesign, with a focus on marine ecosystems.

Each group will present their work in one cohesive session, showing their process, research and prototypes. At the end of the presentations, the winning group will be announced, which will then compete for the Biodesign Challenge Digital Submission Prize.

The Biodesign Challenge is an international competition that allows students to imagine, design and prototype innovative solutions using design and biotechnology tools and methodologies to address environmental and social challenges.
