Do digital technologies reduce (or reinforce) stereotypes?

We would like to inform you about the open seminar "Do Digital Technologies Reduce (or Reinforce) Stereotypes?" that Professor Mara Tanelli, lecturer in the Automatic Control course of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at the Politecnico di Milano, will hold on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 10:30 a.m. in room B2.2.14 as part of the Digital Technologies and Sustainable Development course in which she will also address the topic of assessing cognitive biases and affective states through data analysis.
Professor Mara Tanelli's research areas include mobility, data analysis and control theory. She is co-chair of the interdisciplinary research group "Promoting Diversity and Gender Equality in Education, Science and Society as a Whole: a Multidisciplinary Approach" and a member of the advisory board of "Equal Opportunities @Polimi."
