The "Neighbors’ Open Lectures" series resumes as part of the Il martedì di Off Campus Provvisorio program by POLIMI DESIS Lab research group. This series features lectures by local residents aimed at bringing the neighborhood’s own expertise back to the community.
The first session will feature Alfredo Roccato, a data scientist, who will trace the origins and evolution of artificial intelligence, from early research to today’s most widespread applications.
Through concrete examples, the talk will highlight how these technologies have gradually entered our daily lives, offering a space for critical reflection on their contemporary uses, including both opportunities and limitations, and on the ethical and social implications that arise from them.

Off Campus initiative
