Martiri Oscuri Green Play Street

On the occasion of Milano Green Week 2024, Off Campus Nolo of Politecnico di Milano, Ciresola Parents Association, ilVespaio ETS and Rilegno, together with volunteers from We are Walden, organize "Martiri Oscuri Green Play Street".

The initiative experiments with a temporary tactical urban intervention in Via Martiri Oscuri to imagine its possible transformation into a school street. Thanks to the street design project and the playful-educational, cultural and sports activities that will animate it, Via Martiri Oscuri will be transformed into a protected and accessible public space for four days.

Off Campus Nolo, located at number 54, Viale Monza, is the result of the collaboration between the Municipality of Milan and the University. This initiative has strengthened Politecnico's presence in the city of Milan and the concept of a university attentive to social challenges, closely connected to the territories and communities. The project was honored with the Seoul Design Award 2023 for Sustainable Life, an international award that celebrates designers who have tackled complex issues of everyday life through innovative projects.
