JAZZ DESIGN JAZZ

November 6, 2024, 6:15 p.m., Spazio Cuore, Viale Emilio Alemagna, 6, Milan

On Wednesday November 6, the first conference of the JAZZDESIGN JAZZ cycle, entitled 'Milano sotto/sopra: La Linea 1 "La rossa" 1964-2024, nuovi ritmi e atmosfere della città metropolitana', will be an open discussion chaired by Giampiero Bosoni, with contributions from Paola Albini, Barbara Carnevali, Enrico Intra and Ico Migliore.

Through transversal readings, the meeting will explore how two symbolic events of the city's transformation, such as the inauguration of Milan's first metro line, designed by Franco Albini, Franca Helg and Bob Noorda, and the historic concert of 28 October 1964 by Miles Davis and his quintet at the Triennale Theatre, have influenced the city and become a source of musical and cultural inspiration, symbols of urban and artistic evolution.

Afterwards, a trio of young jazz musicians selected by maestro Enrico Intra will perform live.

Free event on booking. Admission subject to availability. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the event.
