Novel Design Approaches to Livingness & Opening of the Exhibition

To conclude the FARB RELIVE project, coordinated by Venere Ferraro, two dissemination events are planned:

Online event

In addition to presenting the results of the project and workshops, the event will host an open dialogue with researchers working in the fields of Design and Living Artefacts, Living Materials, Natural Matter Engineering Materials.

Exhibition

9-10 May 2025, STECCA3, via Gaetano de Castillia 26, Milan
Opening: 9 May 2025 at 6:00 pm

The results of the three workshops conducted as part of the FARB RELIVE research project, will be showcased in an exhibition at Stecca3.

Each workshop addressed a specific perspective on Livingness. The first, focused on Natural Matter, involved students from the Executive Interior Yacht Design program at POLI.design. The second, centered on Engineered Matter, took place within the Digital Interaction Design and Integrated Design curricular workshop at the Politecnico di Milano, School of Design. The third, dedicated to Programmable Matter, was held as one of the Studios at TEI2025, engaging researchers interested in the topic.
