The Department of Design celebrates well-being through sport, health and community

9:30 am and 10:15 am, Volleyball court and campus green area, Bovisa Durando Campus. 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Building B3, second floor, Bovisa Durando Campus.

On June 23, Politecnico di Milano will celebrate Olympic Day, the international initiative promoted by the International Olympic Committee to encourage movement and an active lifestyle under the motto Let’s Move!.

Within this context, the Department of Design is proposing two activities open to the academic community at the Bovisa Durando Campus.

The day will begin at 9:30 am with a guided workout led by the Polimi Sailing Team in the green area next to Building B1, offering an opportunity to experience outdoor physical activity and share a moment of movement and participation.

This will be followed, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Building B3, by the round table discussion titled “Training Well-being: dialogues between sport, nutrition and community health".

The meeting will address well-being from an interdisciplinary perspective, exploring the relationship between sport, health, nutrition, and sustainable behaviors. Professionals, researchers, and experts will share experiences and case studies, offering insights into practices that promote both individual and collective well-being.

The round table will feature experts from the worlds of sport, health, and research, including Gianluca Di Rosario (Motor Sciences and International Cooperation), Marta Brevi (Nutrition and sport), Chiara D’Angelo (Health and Sport Psychology, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore), Francesco Confalonieri (Sports Medicine), Roberto Angerame (Mediolanum Tennis CityLife), and a representative from ANED.

A day to move, engage, and reflect on the role of sport and healthy lifestyles in building healthier and more inclusive communities.

The event is reserved for staff and students of Politecnico di Milano.
