The Department of Design will host an insightful round table discussion titled "Post Normative Ethics". The event, organised by the PhD Programme in Design, is an opportunity to explore the shifting landscape of design ethics.
The discussion will delve into emerging concepts such as posthumanism, positionality, decolonial approaches, pluriversal and planetary insights. These themes signal a move towards more inclusive and forward-thinking ethical frameworks in design.
Participants will engage with critical discussions that challenge traditional norms, explore the politics of ethics, and envision radical inclusivity in design practices.
The event will feature contributions from experts in technology, design ethics, design futures, and anthropology, who will examine the challenges and opportunities arising from these evolving ethical paradigms.
