Presentation of the first Annual Report (Eco) Sistema Design Milano

Francesco Zurlo, Dean of the School of Design and Maria Porro, President of Salone del Mobile.Milano, invite you to the presentation of the first annual report of (Eco) Sistema Design Milano.

The report presents the first results of the research project carried out under the scientific supervision of the Department of Design of Politecnico di Milano with the support of the School of Design. This first edition of the report offers a first prototypical analysis of a unique event in the world: the Milan Design Week, of which the Salone is the international catalyst, together with the ever-growing agenda of events that transforms the city into a global stage during the month of April.

The aim is to build a long-term monitoring model that addresses key challenges such as environmental, economic, social, inclusion and cultural legacy sustainability, and contributes to the development of future strategies.

The meeting will open with a Lectio Magistralis by Charles Landry, one of the world's leading authorities on the use of creativity and imagination for the rebirth of cities.
