From October 14 to october 17, 2026, the Auditorium San Francesco al Prato in Perugia will host the new edition of Seed. Design Actions for the Future.
The 2026 edition focuses on the theme of humanity and the transformations reshaping the relationship between individuals, communities, the environment and forms of otherness. Scientific and technological developments, artificial intelligence, robotics and biotechnology, together with the ecological crisis and geopolitical changes, are transforming the ways in which we imagine and design the spaces we inhabit.
Through a critical and multidisciplinary approach, the festival explores the boundaries between the human, non-human, transhuman and post-human, as well as possible forms of future coexistence. At the heart of the discussion is the role of design culture in interpreting these changes and imagining new, more just and sustainable models of relationships, inhabitation and coexistence.
Among the events on the programme, Annalisa Dominoni will take part on Thursday, 15 October at 6:00 pm as part of the session Abitare l’Altrove (Inhabiting Elsewhere), which explores innovations in the aerospace sector and the economic, territorial, philosophical and social implications of the colonisation of other worlds and life beyond Earth.
