TAKEBACK | Pre-loved Clothing Collection
MADEBACK Festival
From 5 to 9 May, from 10 to 19 pm, at the Living Lab, Building B4, Campus Durando

In preparation for the MADEBACK Festival, which will take place from 15 to 17 October 2025 at the Durando Campus of Politecnico di Milano, the Spoke 3 MUSA research team is promoting a series of initiatives open to the community, aimed at raising awareness and involving citizens, students and the wider Politecnico di Milano community on the themes of sustainable and circular fashion.
Among these, from 5 to 9 May, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., a collection of used clothes will be held at the Living Lab (Building B4, Durando Campus).
The initiative aims to give a second life to discarded clothes, activating care and transformation pathways that will enhance them and make them a resource for the future. The garments collected will be used in upcycling workshops and educational activities dedicated to repair, promoting a culture of sustainability in the fashion world.
WHAT TO BRING:
Used textiles and knitwear, men's, women's or unisex.
- Garments in good condition or slightly damaged
- Damaged or incomplete garments (missing buttons, sewn seams, small tears)
Underwear, accessories (bags, shoes) or items not related to clothing will not be accepted.
This initiative is part of the broader path of experimentation of the Living Lab "Too Cool to Go Wasted", dedicated to the circular valorisation of textile goods, which will be officially inaugurated in October 2025 at the Department of Design of Politecnico di Milano, within the PNRR project MUSA - Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action (Spoke 3).
The Living Lab is proposed as a permanent space for research, training and activation on circularity in fashion and will be at the centre of the activities of the MADEBACK festival: an event dedicated to emerging brands, craft realities and innovative projects, which will offer exhibitions, workshops, talks and participatory activities within the Design Campus.
