We invite you to participate in the crowdfunding that is due on September 30 for The Queer City project, funded by Fondazione di Comunità Milano. The project sees the Department in partnership with ALA Milano Onlus and Fondazione LILA Milano and also involves the 9 Milan City Councils and 8 LGBTQIA+ associations active in the area, including our PoliEdro and Poli.Hero.

The goal is to explore the link between queerness and public space, involving activists, local communities, and students from the Temporary and Inclusive Urban Solutions course of the School of Design's Master's Degree Programs, to co-design and activate spatial solutions that can promote civic awareness on issues related to the LGBTQIA+ community and queer and feminist instances, offering new spaces of expression even beyond Porta Venezia, in more marginal neighborhoods.

Fondazione di Comunità Milano has introduced a bonus for projects that activate fundraising and reach the required goal: they get a higher final contribution and contribute to increasing “community capital” for the well-being of the area.
