With a BA in Industrial Product Design at Politecnico di Milano and a Msc in Strategic Product Design at TU Delft, Alexandra has over six years of hands-on experience as a service design practitioner in international settings and is currently a Fellow Researcher at Polimi DESIS Lab within the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano. Alexandra contributes to the SMOTIES project, part of the European network Human Cities, funded by Creative Europe, a project that aims to create spatial and service solutions through cultural and creative innovations in 10 European small and remote places. In addition to her academic work, Alexandra also works as an independent strategic and service designer, specialising in applying participatory approaches to tackle urban development challenges, addressing pressing social and environmental sustainability challenges.
