An exhibition about the topic of "food as medicine".

Future Foodscapes

The two-day exhibition “Future Foodscapes” will showcase the artworks curated by the first residency artists in the MUSAE project, a Horizon Europe project coordinated by Associate Professor Marita Canina and Ideactivity Center research group.

MUSAE is aimed at defining an innovative Planet-Centered Factory Model to integrate artistic collaboration in the (European) Digital Innovation Hubs (E-DIHs) through the Design Futures Art-driven (DFA) method to help companies anticipate innovative products and services for the future of food to improve human and planetary well-being.

The display, that will be held on the 9-10th of April at the historic building of the University of Barcelona, will present 12 installations based on the future scenarios on the topic of ‘food as medicine’.

The inauguration will take place on the 9th of April from 6 pm. Each artist will introduce their work, offering insights into their creative processes and inspirations and allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the diverse and captivating creations on display. Then there will be a cocktail party in order to encourage networking and discussion among participants.The presentation will continue throughout the day on Wednesday the 10th of April.
