Critical Visions for Future Scenarios

The Design Futures 2025 seminars of the School of Design, Politecnico di Milano, proposed by proff. Marita Canina e Manuela Celi, explore anticipatory and speculative methodologies to design alternative futures.

Through insights from international experts in Future Thinking and critical design, Design Fiction, AI ethics, regenerative sustainability, and scenario-building, students will gain hands-on knowledge to envision and shape possible futures. These discussions will offer a comprehensive view of how design can shape and respond to future challenges, fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation for better futures.

This year’s speakers include Nicoletta Boldrini, Roland Benedikter, Karla Paniagua, Silvio Lorusso, Delfina Fantini Van Ditmar, Oskar Stokholm Østergaard, and Ivica Mitrović.

Sessions will be held in a hybrid format, accessible via Webex.
