Manuela Celi, an Associate Professor in the Design Department at Politecnico di Milano, specializes in Metadesign, Design processes, with a particular emphasis on Design Futures and Anticipation over the past 15 years. She actively contributes to the Design PhD Board and serves as the Rectors’ delegate for talent development at the ASP School. Her research encompasses diverse aspects of design knowledge, metacognitive skills, and advanced design processes. Adopting a transdisciplinary approach, she explores the convergence of design with humanities and social sciences, investigating intermediate design products of significant cultural value such as trends and scenarios. Through her publications in esteemed academic journals such as Futures and The Design Journal, she bridges the realms of research and education, cultivating innovative content and facilitating experimental activities for students.
