Laboratorio COmeta wins first prize Design&Territories 2025

Awards

The image depicts a large group of people gathered inside a spacious exhibition area, characterized by high vaulted ceilings and white walls. At the back of the room, three speakers stand before a microphone, apparently in the middle of a presentation or an opening speech, while the crowd observes them attentively or interacts with each other in the foreground. Among the participants, several figures can be seen conversing, taking photographs, or looking at their phones, creating a lively and convivial atmosphere. The setting is furnished with several information panels and a large, suspended white textile sculpture that adds an artistic element to the scene.

The COmeta Laboratory, with its many years of experience in the field of Design & Autism, has won the first prize at Design&Territories 2025.

A jury of professionals awarded the projects of students exhibited at the Fabbriche Chiaramontane in Agrigento, a selection of works from 16 Italian universities.

Technical and typological innovation, the skillful use of traditional technologies, experimentation with emerging technologies, and environmental and social sustainability were the criteria that led to COmeta's recognition.
