Parliamo di Scuola. A tool to improve school service accessibility

In collaboration with the association Mamme a Scuola (Italian L2 association) the città-IN project will have a public event to present the process and outputs of the co-design activity.

The event will start by outlining how the research findings on school services accessibility have informed the co-design and co-production of a tool (a handbook) to support migrant parents, and mothers in particular, in overcoming language, cultural and digital barriers.

The handbook Parliamo di Scuola, Avvicinare le mamme immigrate alla scuola dei figli is addressed mainly to associations and schools teaching Italian as L2, but has the potential to be employed and adapted within a variety of public contexts related to services orientation. Following a focus on the handbook, we will listen to feedbacks on its implementation in class, while a final roundtable will see the participation of local organisations and institutions.
