June 17, 2026, 7:00 pm, Bar Basso, Via Plinio 39, Milano
A TUTTE LE ORE. Milano tra arti, design e atmosfere creative presents its sound book at Bar Basso, one of the key locations featured in the project. Following the podcast produced with Chora Media and the interactive digital map available online, the research now takes shape as a tangible object to browse, touch, and listen to—bringing together academic research, oral testimonies, images, and audio recordings. The book opens with a foreword by Ugo La Pietra, a leading figure and witness to a Milan shaped by encounters, crossings, and shared intuitions.
The research tells the story of a creative Milan that emerged beyond institutional spaces: in cafés, bars, and clubs, where artists, designers, writers, and musicians met, influenced one another, and offered mutual support, giving rise to ideas, projects, and collaborations.
The project traces a journey through five iconic locations in the city: Caffè Craja, Santa Tecla, Bar Jamaica, Plastic, and Bar Basso, revealing an emotional geography shaped by relationships, memories, and insights born after hours, when free time becomes creative time.
The presentation will take place at Bar Basso, in keeping with the spirit of the places featured in the research. The event will be an open conversation, to be continued together over a Negroni and a toast. At the end of the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to receive a complimentary copy of the sound book.
Admission is free upon registration via Eventbrite.
