Vandi Angelica

Post doc fellow

PhD in Design and MSc in Design for the Fashion System at Politecnico di Milano. Currently, she is a post-doc research fellow and part of the Design and Cultures section of the Department of Design, Politecnico di Milano.

During her university career, she took part in the Design Management joint program with Jefferson University, Philadelphia.

Since 2019, she has been a Fashion in Process researcher at the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano, within the research section "Design and Culture of Innovation”, and, since 2021, she has been a researcher at the Gianfranco Ferré Research Center. She followed the development of the DigiMood for CCIs European-funded project.

She teaches in the Fashion Branding Strategies course at Milano Fashion Institute. She is a teaching assistant and content contributor at the Branding&Communication course in the joint program of Product Service System Design and Management Engineering and tutor at the "Design for the Fashion System" Final Studio Lab in the MSc in Design for the Fashion System at Politecnico di Milano.

Her research interests concern the relationship between Fashion Design, Cultural Heritage and Design Futures. She focuses on identifying design-driven, speculative scenarios to innovate Cultural and Creative Industries' production and consumption dynamics and on modeling and experimenting with new cultural interactions involving tangible and intangible Fashion Cultural Capital, both historicized and contemporary.
