Piredda Francesca

Associate Professor

Ph.D, coordinator of the Imagis Lab research group in design and member of the interdepartmental group Laboratorio carcere (Design and DAStU), developing in-field research at Off Campus San Vittore; collaborates with DESIS Network.


She conducts research and educational activities on communication design, digital media, audiovisual language and the narratives, both for social innovation and branding. The specific interest for in-field research and participatory design approaches have allowed her to develop and experiment with a narrative-driven approach to support co-design processes.


In 2017 she received the XXV Compasso d’Oro ADI for the CampUS project. Incubation and staging of social practices.


At POLI.design, since 2021 she has been the scientific director of the masters Art Direction & Copywriting and Digital Strategy and Processes for Innovation; from 2021 to 2025 she was the scientific director of the master in Brand Communication; since 2025 she has been the technical director of the advanced course Video Identity.
